DEFTONES - WHITE PONY

153 - Die DEFTONES wurden 1988 in Sacramento, Kalifornien gegründet. Mit ihren ersten zwei Alben wurden sie das Aushängeschild der NU-Metal Szene. Mit ihrem Album WHITE PONY wollten sie damit brechen und nahmen ein düsteres, experimentelles Album auf. Das Album ist sehr abwechslungsreich und die Musikstiele sind Industrial, Punk bis zu Noise. Das Album WHITE PONY wurde von den Kritikern sehr gelobt und ist das besten Album der Band.

152 - MIDORI TAKADA wurde 1951 in Tokio / Japan geboren.Sie wurde bekannt durch die Kombination von ostasiatischer Musik mit Jazz. Sie machte viele Solo Projekte und trat auch mit dem Mkwaju Ensamble auf. Ihr Siel wird mit minimal, experimentell und ambient beschrieben. Ihr erstes Konzert gab sie 1978 in Berlin.

PLASTIC OPERATOR - DIFFERENT PLACES

150 - Gegründet wurde die Band von den zwei Musikern Mathieu Gendrean und Pieter Van Dessel, die 2001 in London in an der Westminster University im Kurs Audio Production eingeschrieben waren. Durch die gemeinsame Liebe zur elektronischen Musik wurden sie Freunde und beschlossen gemeinsam Musik zu machen. Die ersten Tracks wurden noch im Selbstvertrieb an Plattenläden gegeben. 2006 erfolgte dann auf dem Label Sunday Best die erste Veröffentlichung und 2007 dann das Deput Album Different Places. 150 - Gegründet wurde die Band von den zwei Musikern Mathieu Gendrean und Pieter Van Dessel, die 2001 in London in an der Westminster University im Kurs Audio Production eingeschrieben waren.
