Nr. 335, The Undertones - Hypnotised

In AAs spielen wir heute die britische Band "The Undertones" die 1976 in Derry, Nordirland von Billy Doherty (Schlagzeug), Feargal Sharkey (Gesang), Mickey Bradley (Bass), Damian O'Neill (Gitarre) 
und John O'Neill (Gitarre) gegründet wurde. Das Genre ist ein Mix aus Punk und Rock. Bis 1982 veröffentlichte die Band 4 Alben: 1. "The Undertones" (1979), 2. "Hypnotised" (1980), 3. "Positive Touch" (1981) und 4. "The Sin of Pride" (1982). Nachden der Erfolg nicht ganz den Erwartungen entsprach, löste sich die Band im Jahr 1983 auf. Erst im Jahr 1999 fand die Band in veränderer Zusamensetzung (d.h. ohne Feargal Sharkey dafür mit Paul McLoone) wieder zusammen. Es wurden 2 weitere Alben veröffentlicht: 5. "Get What You Need" (2003) und 6. "Dig Yourself Deep" (2007). Die Band besteht in dieser Zusammensetzung bis heute. In AAS spielen wir das Album "Hypnotised" von 1980.
